Big news from under the canopy — we are thrilled to share that The Canopy School has been awarded a Microgrant from VELA Education Fund!
VELA exists to find and fuel the kinds of bold, creative educators who are reimagining what school can look like. They don’t fund ordinary — they fund different, and we think that says everything about what we’re building here.
This grant is more than funding. It’s recognition that the work we’re doing at The Canopy School — nurturing curious, capable learners in an intentional, close-knit environment — matters. It’s validation from an organization that has seen micro schools across the country and still chose to invest in ours.
We are so grateful to the VELA Investment Team for their belief in us, and most of all, we’re grateful for you — our families, our learners, and our community — who make this school worth fighting for every single day.
